video installation 2014/15

Video sequences, which depict writing hands, get projected onto an open colossal/oversized book. They are letters from various centuries, in which is asked for settlement in european cities. The individual video and sound sequences are interrupted by apparent flipping of pages. That way it seems as if the letters splinter themselves up and melt into a video and sound collage. The resulting white surfaces become a metaphor for broken sentences and dissolved words.
